About

My name is Christopher Leon Johnston, I have been involved in Brass Bands all of my life as a Euphonium player / Soloist and Musical Director.

Brass Bands I have played with / conducted over the years include : GUS, Camborne Town, St Austell, St Keverne to name just a few.

I am currently the Musical Director of The Marsh Gibbon Silver Band. Now at the tender age of 60! I decided it was my time to help those in need.

By creating Plastic Brass, a group of musicians to help Disabled people in the UK, by raising money for a Disabled Charity.

We had 35 players at our main 2017 event.

However we welcome more players that wish to help us raise money for charity.

The chosen charity is Milton Keynes Centre for Integrated Living (MK CIL).

Disabled people across the UK need help, and are getting lost in our society!

Join us for future events its all great fun!

All we ask to be part of the Plastic Brass Team, is that you purchase a Plastic Brass T Shirt! & donate your time.
